The Runes themselves date back all the way to the 1st century. So for over the two thousand years they have been used for magic and divination. Ancient 'Elder Futhark' inscriptions have been found on artefacts discovered between the Carpathians and Lappland, with the highest concentration in modern day Denmark.
Each of our sets includes the 24 traditional pieces plus a blank 'spare' (do not use this when reading - keep it as a spare only).
